What is a Behavioral Interview?

A “behavioral interview” or a “situational interview” is one in which you are asked to give a specific time that something occurred between you and a co-worker or customer concerning the topic of the question. Many state agencies will use this format and other employers may as well. The idea is that past experience and responses are a good predictor of future action.
