Be an Active Interviewee

Are you aware a good interview should come across more as a conversation rather than a grilling? Now you should be asking yourself, “Exactly how do I do that in the best possible way?” Today’s article will help you to understand the ways in which you can present yourself, your skills and your past work experience in a positive, informative light while marketing yourself as the best candidate. Isn’t it best to start out by demonstrating to the employer that you are their “go to” person for the open position? Resumes have now advanced where we no longer use the “Objective” Statement which told the employer what you, the job seeker, is looking for in your employment, to the “Personal Brand” which tells an employer what you have to offer, what is unique about you that makes you stand above the rest, and what you are bringing to the table. Therefore, it only makes common sense that our interview should advance to a place where we become a presenter to the employer of the value of our marketable talent, skill and experience we bring while being able to converse on a one-on-one level. Read the article and see if you get some clarification and an “aha” moment to change up your interview skills.
