SOFT SKILL: Releasing Negativity

You may ask yourself what this really has to do with your job search? Shouldn’t this be listed under personal growth or counseling? Being negative can destroy your morale while searching for your job. Being negative can sabotage your new position once you’ve been hired. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a positive attitude in the midst of your trials and troubles? Don’t allow your negativity to keep you from having hope or from reading today’s article. When searching for a job, you need all the encouragement you can get. You might have others around who are cheering you on, but once you become the main cheerleader in your camp, your job search efforts and success rate will increase dramatically. You must’ve heard by now the definition of insanity, “doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result”. Begin today to do things differently from the past and continue to expect a different, “better than ever” result!
