Wallflower to Assertive

Are you an introvert? Do you find it difficult to step out and start conversation? Are you reluctant to take the chance to stand out by voicing your opinion on a matter? If so, I can relate to you. I was the proverbial wallflower. But then, it dawned on me one day, maybe my opinion or experience is something someone else can use in a positive way. See yourself as the professional you want to be. I say this in order to challenge you to step up and take risks to communicate as outlined in the linked article, “Networking? The Art of Conversation” by Angee Linsey, Founder and Managing Director of Seattle-based Linsey Careers
